At 3143m Mt. Fansipan is the highest peak in Vietnam and the entire Indochina peninsula. This remote trek provides plenty to see and absorb, from the scattered rocks inscribed with drawings and designs of unknown origin, to the French influenced hill retreat town of Sapa with its minority groups, beautiful villas and cherry forests. As we ascend through the lower reaches of Fansipan, we will pass terraced rice paddies and villages of the H'mong, one of Vietnam's many ethnic minorities. Giant, centuries old pine trees and expanses of yellow bamboo mark the higher reaches of our climb and we may sight mountain goats and langur monkeys along the way. Our trek to the top of Mt. Fansipan is challenging and will be fully supported every step of the way by our guides, porters and cooks who's local knowledge and understanding of the different hill-tribe cultures we pass along the way will add to the uniqueness of this exhilarating journey.

Trek the first day down from Dalat to Tuyen Lam Lake. The trail is moderate on the first day and goes over Pinhatt Mountain through pine forest and ends at a campsite on the shore of the lake. The second day puts you in the jungle for the whole day as you trek further south. This moderate trek involves about 4 to 5 hours of hiking each day.

The North East mountainous areas of Ba Be Lake, Cao Bang and Lang Son offer opportunities for rugged jeep rides and stunning trekking routes. It is the least traveled area of the north and is ideal for more hardy travelers craving a glimpse of some of the more remote ethnic minority people.
Highlights of the this expedition experience in Cao Bang include stunning trek across mountain ranges, interesting home stay in different tribal villages and beautiful paddling on Ba Be Lake.

3-day trip departure from Dong Hoi Town

Son Dong, a cave belongs to the Phong Nha-Ke Bang grotto system in central Quang Binh Province, has been discovered to be the biggest in the world.
Son Doong cave, discovered by a local 18 years ago, is more than 200 meters wide, 150 meters high, and at least 6.5 kilometers long, though the explorers said they were unable to explore it fully. British explorers have recently discovered that So Dong is much larger than the world’s biggest known cave. The biggest section of Son Dong is five kilometers in length, 200 meters high and 150 meters wide, said Howard Limbirt of the British Cave Research Association team searching the area April 10-14, 2009. Son Dong is much larger than Deer Cave in Malaysia, currently considered the world’s largest, an explorer said (Deer is 90 meters wide, 100 meters high and 2 kilometers long). The Son Doong cave has replaced to take pole position as the world’s largest cave.
